An air cargo-specific warehouse could be successfully realised with a new innovative concept at the third-largest air cargo airport in Germany. The concept offers its users everything they need for handling cargo at airports. This includes optimal access to the apron, high-security areas, closed customs areas and high load capacities.

The World Cargo Center Leipzig/Halle is located in the South cargo area of the up-and-coming airport of Leipzig/Halle. Despite its support-free construction, the modern cargo centre with direct access to the airport apron has car parking facilities on the roof for suppliers, employees, and visitors. Thus the plot size on the site could be optimally used for operation – another example of intelligent logistics provided by the Garbe Group.
