Responsible thinking and acting have been a part of the corporate culture of the Garbe Group right from the beginning, as an important contribution to society as well as a factor for our corporate success.

As member of the DGNB (German Sustainable Building Council) the Garbe Group is actively engaged in the development of criteria for the certification of logistics real estate, and is already now creating the prerequisites for their customers to use sustainable logistics properties. The planning for the Logistics Park Westfalenhütte in Dortmund earns a gold certification according to the DGNB standard. 

The Garbe Group does not fear a challenge with residential projects, either. In compliance with the KfW-40 standard for energy-efficient construction, high and modern sustainability standards were met in the Hamburg residential quarter "Kleine Horst". An energy supply from geothermal sources is a available in all buildings.

Sustainable real estate also means long-term added value, because only those who already take into account future requirements can remain successful on the market in the long run.
