Hamburg, 8 October 2024 – GARBE Commercial Living will complement GARBE Reside in the commercial living sector going forward. The new company will focus on the conversion of existing hotels and office buildings into modern, multi-functional accommodations, such as hotels, serviced apartments, senior living apartments, student apartments and co-living concepts.

GARBE to combine its strengths and expertise

The new company is part of GARBE’s recently announced “Sheds, Beds & Infrastructure” strategy, which will see operational activities combined into over-arching, independently operated “Industrial”, “Reside” and “Infrastructure” business divisions. GARBE Commercial Living will form part of the “Reside” division.

GARBE Reside’s 360-degree management approach as a developer, operator and investor will combine all real estate activities associated with private and commercial living. Alongside GARBE Immobilien-Projekte, which develops its own innovative residential projects and urban quarters while also offers its expertise as a third-party service developer, GARBE Commercial Living will follow the same strategy, focusing on the development of serviced apartments, senior living, student housing and hotel asset classes.

GARBE Reside to leverage synergies

Managing Directors of GARBE Commercial Living, Felix Radavero and Sven Rödig, previously founded and led Natives Capital GmbH, bringing decades of experience in hotel operating models, development, refurbishment and asset management, which they honed in key roles for leading international hotel companies. Their first development has already been acquired.
